With 2020 looming just around the corner, now is the perfect time to plan your garden for next year.

Planning now gives you time to move any plants, which require moving, during the correct time. Along with purchasing any seeds required, and purchasing other larger items such as sheds, greenhouses and tools ready for the new year.

In this post, we’re going to take a look at our recommended places to purchase various items along with a little word about each. So without further ado, lets get going!

Seeds & Plants

The main staple of any garden are the plants within it. Whether that’s borders or pots, annuals or perennials, every garden needs some form of plants, hence the reason that they are first.

Dobies

Providing seeds for flowers and vegetables since 1880, Dobies are one of the more known seed suppliers. Whilst they sell seeds and plants, they also offer equipment, storage solutions and a whole manner of other garden related items. So if you’re looking for something specific, these guys are probably selling it.

Another popular choice by many, Suttons are known by most as a top quality seed supplier.  They also offer equipment and pond supplies along with many other items.

Sarah Raven

This is one not everyone will have heard of before. They offer some unique and exclusive plants at some great prices. Sarah Raven also offers various courses including floristry, vegetable growing, and cooking.

Seed Pantry

Providing lovely products at decent prices. They also offer spas and party tents, which are great if you require a bit more space for that BBQ!

Although not a product for your garden, we felt like our list wouldn’t be complete without something to do when that UK weather just makes it too nasty to be outside or you just want to sit down with a cuppa and take some time to plan for next year. Kindle Unlimited offer a whole host of gardening related publications. BBC Gardeners World, Homes & Gardens UK and BBC Countryfile Magazine subscriptions are also all free until July 2020.
